Announcement Regarding The Requirement To Submit Pcr Test Results Upon Arrival At Turkey
1. Starting from 29 December, 2020 21:00 UTC hours [Turkey time zone 00.00 (30 December 2020)] all airline passengers that are 6 years or older and all passengers that are to enter Turkey through land or sea borders will be required to submit a negative sars-cov-2 (Covid-19) PCR test result done within the last 72-hours prior to their entrance to Turkey.
Passengers who do not submit negative sars-cov-2 (Covid-19) PCR test result will not be admitted to the flights. This requirement is applicable to transit and transfer passengers as well.
2. On the other hand, passengers who arrive at Turkey’s border gates without negative PCR test results will be quarantined at the address (house, hotel etc.) that they have declared to stay upon their arrival at Turkey. Those who possess an accommodation in Turkey will be quarantined and accommodated under the guidance of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey. On the 7th day of the quarantine, passengers will be tested. For those who have negative test results, the quarantine will be lifted at the end of the 7th day. Passengers with positive test results will be treated in accordance with the Covid-19 guidelines of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.3.
